LOCHTE SETS WORLD RECORD IN 200 IM

ISTANBUL, TURKEY — Ryan Lochte broke his own world record in the 200-meter individual medley on Friday at the short-course world championships in Istanbul. The Olympic star finished the eight laps in one minute and 49.63 seconds. Lochte has won four races so far in Istanbul. He took five medals at the London Olympics, including two golds.
