ARIES (March 21-April 19): You can’t put your foot on the gas and the brake at the same time. You may be hurrying up, only to stand in line. You may be frustrated if you begin a major project during the next few days.

TAURUS (April 20-May 20): With all the millions of people on Earth, it doesn’t make sense to let just one person ruin your day. Fulfilling your responsibilities may be of great importance, so don’t be sidetracked by a passing argument.

GEMINI (May 21-June 20): Stop to smell the flowers and to take in the view. Your enthusiasm is great, but you might ignore someone else’s opinions or your surroundings in your rush to get your own way. Don’t ignore the environment.

CANCER (June 21-July 22): There is a lesson to be learned or a fable to absorb. Keep a mental vacuum cleaner handy to separate the fluff from the substance. You could be fooled by someone’s grumpy outer demeanor.

LEO (July 23-Aug. 22): What goes up, must come down. You might seesaw between being coolly efficient and professional and highly sensitive and imaginative. The trick is to know when to play hardball and when to give an extra inch.

VIRGO (Aug. 23-Sept. 22): Unrealistic dreams might have a realistic solution. Let someone else critique your ideas and you might be able to find a way to solve problems. A single “no” or minor snafus should not discourage you.

LIBRA (Sept. 23-Oct.22): Mirages fade the closer you get. Charming co-workers or congenial business acquaintances may lose their appeal and show their worst side to you in a one-on-one situation.

SCORPIO (Oct. 23-Nov. 21): Peter Piper was picky about his peppers. You can be most effective by being exceedingly efficient. Give no one any reason to criticize you, but be generous about faultfinding with others.

SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 22-Dec. 21): To everything there is a season. You may have a chance to put career and emotional needs into their proper perspectives. It isn’t a good day to make key changes or launch major initiatives.

CAPRICORN (Dec. 22-Jan. 19): You could be anchored by the past just when the winds of change pick up. You may receive an opportunity to break free from something that is holding you back rather than propelling you forward.

AQUARIUS (Jan. 20-Feb. 18): Your storytelling techniques might need a little more rehearsal. No matter what you say, or how you say it, you can always polish the presentation a wee bit more. Spend money to make money.

PISCES (Feb. 19-March 20): Gain confidence to gain momentum. You risk underestimating your power to charm others. Your intensity of purpose can be put to good use by networking on the job or to facilitate a business project.

IF APRIL 18 IS YOUR BIRTHDAY: Your part of the cosmic pie experiences peace and tranquility throughout most of the year -- which may manifest as a renewed interest in creative projects or better health. Hard work and a strict attention to duty may be necessary during the next several weeks. Wait until June to put pet projects into motion or to make a final decision about a key relationship. Not only will you be wiser and more far seeing then, but profitable opportunities could appear as well. Since this is a very lucky time for you, it might be wise to consider launching your important personal plans. Be especially alert at the end of December and early part of January for an opportunity to concentrate on the spiritual rather than the material.
