Restoration Garage
If you love old cars, you won’t want to miss this new series, which introduces viewers to the folks at The Guild of Automotive Restorers, David Grainger’s hospital for aging and infirm motor cars. Restorations include the ongoing re-creation of the 1935 Bugatti Aerolithe Coupe, which may, or may not, get completed by season’s end. The cost of the restoration is frequently several times more than the restored car’s actual worth, as in the case of Mr. Beep, the talking car that BP developed in the ‘50s to teach schoolchildren about road safety.
