Miley Cyrus gives critics a tongue-lashing

- DOUG CAMILLI camillimail@gmail.com

That’s Miley Cyrus on the cover of the new Rolling Stone mag (“Good Golly, Miss Miley”), wearing almost nothing and sticking out her tongue. In the interview, she explains that the Great VMA Twerking Caper of 2013 should not be blamed on her alone:

“No one is talking about the man behind the ass. It was a lot of ‘Miley twerks on Robin Thicke,’ but never, ‘Robin Thicke grinds up on Miley.’ They’re only talking about the one that bent over. So obviously there’s a double standard.”

So much for getting back together with Maria Shriver: Arnold

Schwarzenegger is reportedly dating one Heather Milligan, a physical therapist. They were spotted dining and smooching the other night. He’s 66, she’s 38.

Elton John had dinner with Lady Gaga the other night, at West Hollywood resto Craig’s. (Try the lamb chops, just $49, with a $12 side of creamed corn.)

This event seems to mean that there will be no feud between the two, despite Elton’s recent comment about her that “when your persona begins to take over your music … you enter a dangerous place.” Then the Gagster was said to be “just tired of Elton’s constant criticism.”

Johnny Depp and David Furnish were at the dinner too, perhaps to prevent fisticuffs. But the N.Y. Post, reporting the encounter, makes no mention of any tension. Annals of sports broadcasting: The Houston Astros, 36.5 games out of first and the worst team in Major League Baseball, had a hometown TV rating of 0.0 for last Sunday’s game in Cleveland, the Houston Chronicle notes.

This doesn’t mean nobody at all was tuned in, just that all the Houston households with little Nielson monitoring boxes were not watching. The Astros lost, 9-2.

More from Kanye West’s BBC interview: he proclaimed himself “the No. 1 rock star on the planet” and also said his song Dark Fantasy “could be considered to be perfect. … I know how to make perfect.”

Don’t get too close to him, he’s going to explode any second, because of his own grandeur.

Sean Preston Federline, Britney Spears’s first-born, is 8 now, and she wants him on stage with her in December, when she starts her two-year “concert residency” in Las Vegas. But TMZ.com says Kevin

Federline, the father, is blocking Britney’s plan.

Sean was in a video with his mom, and liked it, but his little brother Jayden, at 6, doesn’t enjoy the limelight, the website says.

Kev told TMZ that he would be OK with Sean performing, on one condition: “If he was like 25 years old.’’

Coming next month to Britain’s Channel 4: A one-time program in which three couples, including one gay pair, each have sex, in private, and then all immediately go on live TV to discuss how it went, with talk-show hostess Mariella Frostrup.

It says here that this is under the rubric of sex education. At Channel 4 head office, that’s their story and they’re sticking to it.
