CANADIAN HOUSING DATA SHOWING IMPROVEMENT

The Conference Board of Canada suggests short-term expectations for housing starts in the country’s big cities have improved this month. The board says 14 of the 28 metropolitan areas covered have positive short-term expectations this month, two more than last month. The short-term expectations are based on residential permits data, while the long-term expectations are based on demographic requirements.
