SKY’S THE LIMIT FOR BOUCHARD

How wonderful to see Westmount’s Eugenie Bouchard voted the most promising rookie on the WTA Tour. Quite an accomplishment to see her ascend to the No. 32 world ranking so quickly. What makes her so lovable is that she looks like she plays the game because she truly enjoys it, yet still maintains a competitive edge to her game.

Having played the game a little myself and sat in an umpire’s chair at the international level, it makes me proud to see such a positive, well-raised Canadian girl. Continue the magic as I believe the sky’s the limit for you, Eugenie. Top five or even higher is definitely attainable in my book.
