DARIAN DURANT In wins over BC and Calgary he completed 43 of 53 passing attempts (good for 81 per cent) for 550 yards, five touchdowns, and zero interceptions. Add to that 115 rushing yards on 10 carries. Durant, 31, is currently playing the best football of his career, and if that continues into Sunday there’s a good chance he’ll get his first ring.

KORY SHEETS

At least for this season, he finally settled the score with rival running back Jon Cornish in last weekend’s win in Calgary, rushing for 177 yards and a touchdown on 28 attempts. The Riders’ O-line is fully intact and opening holes, and arguably the league’s most dynamic rusher is taking full advantage.

WESTON DRESSLER The odds-on favourite to provide Sunday’s highlight of the night, Dressler simply owns the middle of the field. With his quick feet and sure hands he provides a matchup nightmare for defences, who also have to be mindful of the many other weapons on the Rider offence.

TAJ SMITH Since entering the league he’s been one of the league’s explosive receivers, and a major threat to break a game open at any given time. In each of his first two seasons in the league he has a touchdown of 70-plus yards, while this year he finished second on the team with seven touchdowns. CHRIS GETZLAF He led the team with 1,045 receiving yards this season and scored seven times, and in his return to action from injury last weekend already made an impact with a touchdown catch. Getzlaf is another player in the middle of the field that the Ticat defence will have to keep a close eye on.
