Hudson residents are up in arms

Re.: “Hudson residents contest sewer and water tax,” offislandgazette.com, March 12.

I wholeheartedly agree with everything Daren Legault wrote about the Hudson taxation system. I, too, am being taxed for water and sewer services that I have never received and am not likely to either.

For 64 years, everyone on the west end of Hudson has needed to provide their own wells and septic systems and maintain them with no monetary assistance from Hudson.

Until very recently, we haven’t been taxed for this new service. That is why we are up in arms now.
