Cartoonist Daniel Shelton at Chapters on Saturday

Cartoonist Daniel Shelton will be signing copies of his latest book, “Ben: A First Treasury,” at Chapters in PointeClaire on Saturday, March 29, from noon to 4 p.m.

The artist behind the Ben cartoon strip, Shelton has 10 published books to his credit, but this is his first self- published collection. It’s also his first book in English.

“Ben, A First Treasury Book,” is a 108-page compendium of strips that delve into the lives of Ben and Olivia, a retired couple who babysit their four grandchildren.

The strip is published in more than 40 newspapers across North America, including The Gazette, and in Asia. It is published in both French and English. Chapters Pointe-Claire is at 6321 Trans-Canada Highway, next to the Toys ‘R Us.
