ARIES (March 21-April 19): Fleeting delights satisfy immediate needs, but you can wait and enjoy lasting pleasures. Some things are like cotton candy with little substance and other things are like a garden that brings endless sustenance.

TAURUS (April 20-May 20): Anything worth doing is worth doing well. You may want to put a creative touch of individuality on everything, but working too quickly can leave you dissatisfied. Don’t take promises or assurances for granted.

GEMINI (May 21-June 20): Be generous with your praise and thoughtful with your counsel. It takes more courage to smile when things are going wrong than when things are going well. Avoid making promises or taking on new debts.

CANCER (June 21-July 22): If you beat your head against a wall, the result will be a very sore head. Hold off on new endeavors, signing contracts, or making commitments. Quit pushing in the wrong direction; relax and enjoy down time.

LEO (July 23-Aug. 22): You’re more popular than hot sauce at a barbecue but must keep your cool when the catsup hits the fan. Someone might have their doubts about you so you may need to prove your loyalty over and over again.

VIRGO (Aug. 23-Sept. 22): If and when push comes to shove, don’t shove back. You could come to an impasse, but that will give you time to reconsider your actions. Wait until next week to sign crucial financial documents or agreements.

LIBRA (Sept. 23-Oct. 22): The game is truth or consequences. There is a tendency to prevaricate when placed in a defensive position, but that could cause trouble. Stressful situations require cool logic and patience. Be the Rock of Gibraltar.

SCORPIO (Oct. 23-Nov. 21): April showers bring spring flowers. Things aren’t as bad as they may seem. You may be on a downward spiral when others resist your charms and your wallet is shrinking, but this is just a temporary condition.

SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 22-Dec. 21): Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me. You may be inspired, but don’t waste time or assets pursuing a get rich scheme or let your heart be captured by a less-than-worthy admirer.

CAPRICORN (Dec. 22-Jan. 19): Loyalty can be the first casualty of independence. The ties that bind often loosen when someone is attracted to something new. Don’t be threatened by a change or a short-lived separation from loved ones.

AQUARIUS (Jan. 20-Feb. 18): There is a means to an end. Forgiveness is about not letting negative feelings spoil your life. If you feel mistreated, you can become bitter and angry. View the end result as an opportunity for personal growth and change.

PISCES (Feb. 19-March 20): You may be suited up to be the life of the party, even when there’s no party to be found. You may need to set the stage and play all the parts to create a glamorous evening, but you do so without any drama.

IF APRIL 4 IS YOUR BIRTHDAY: You’re a beautiful dreamer during the upcoming 4-6 six weeks. You may be caught up in dreams of true love, power, or get-rich schemes, but not quite ready to live your dream. You’ll be basking in the spotlight with a bevy of admirers by July, when both romance and fame will most easily come your way. That’s also a good time to interview for a new job or meet new people. September is the best time to put crucial plans into motion or to make critical decisions, since your judgment will be at its best.
