What will be open and closed on Canada Day
Here is a partial list of what’s open and closed this Canada Day: Banks are closed on Tuesday. Federal and provincial government offices, including immigration and unemployment centres, are closed Tuesday.

Recycling, garbage and large-item pickup will run normally in most boroughs. There are some exceptions — check ville.montreal.qc.ca/infocollectes or call 311 for details.

Montreal arenas, indoor swimming pools, sports centres, libraries and cultural venues will operate according to schedules set by boroughs. Check the website of your borough for specific hours.

Pointe à Callière Museum of Archaeology & History is open Tuesday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Public markets will be open Tuesday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Marché Bonsecours will be open Tuesday 10 a.m. to 9 p.m.

Société des alcools outlets will be closed Tuesday.

On Monday, AMT commuter trains will provide no service on the Vaudreuil-Hudson, St-Jérôme and Candiac lines, while the Deux-Montagnes and Mont-St-Hilaire lines will have regular weekday service.
