-

Here’s a look at the 13 home invasions believed to be linked to Septimus Neverson who was arrested last month in Port of Spain, the capital of the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago, on a request from police in Montreal and Laval.

May 4, 2006: Someone armed with a gun broke in through a window of the Baie- d’Urfé home of Robert and Debora Chalabi on Place Fir. He told them to gather their valuables and place them in their car, then ordered the couple to drive him around while he looked for ATMs from which he would withdraw their money. He eventually let them out in Châteauguay.

May 7, 2006: A man broke into a bungalow on Touzin Ave. in Dorval. A woman was home with one of her sons. The intruder used duct tape to tie up both of them. He made off with valuables and the woman’s car.

May 14, 2006: A man broke into a home on Geoffrion St. in St- Laurent and robbed a 23- year- old woman while her parents slept upstairs.

May 28, 2006: A man armed with a revolver broke into a home in Pierrefonds on Avalon St. through a window. He tied up the victim, a 35- year- old man, and drove away in his car, which was found hours later. He stole a small amount of cash and jewelry.

June 18, 2006: An intruder broke into an empty house on Beverley Ave. in Town of Mount Royal through a back window. When the occupants arrived, he threatened them and struck a 56- year- old woman on the head. He left with some money and a computer.

June 24, 2006: A man broke into a home on Maisonneuve St. in Laval. No violence occurred.

July 17, 2006: The level of violence in the home invasions increased significantly when Frank Dike, 47, was shot twice in his home on LaSalle Blvd. in Verdun. The masked intruder entered by a side window.

July 20, 2006: Artist Jacques Sénécal, 61, was shot dead during a robbery in his home on Vanasse St. in Laval. The robber had demanded money and jewelry from Sénécal and his family. His wife and son were tied up.

Oct. 10, 2006: Almost three months after Sénécal was killed, the home invader is believed to have struck again, this time on Michel Gamelin St. in Laval. A couple had just finished eating dinner, when the man went outside to cover the grill and was confronted by a masked man armed with a gun. The intruder stole jewelry, bottles of liquor, electronic items and cash, and made off with the couple’s vehicle.
