Police still looking for St-Michel arsonists

The Montreal arson squad is asking the public’s help to solve three restaurant fires that were criminally set last year in St-Michel. Investigat­ors are looking for two suspects who could be linked to all three cases.

The first fire took place at the Le Coin Latino restaurant on StMichel Blvd. on Aug. 21, 2014.

At 1:15 a.m., the window of the restaurant was broken and a Molotov cocktail was tossed inside.

According to police, one suspect was wearing a dark hoodie, black pants, white and black shoes and a scarf on his face. The second suspect wore a grey hoodie, grey jogging pants and black shoes.

Both suspects are described as slightly built and between 16 and 30 years old.

Two other fires were set at Restaurant Anh Hong, also on St-Michel Blvd., in the early morning hours of Nov. 15 and Nov. 22, 2014.

In both cases, a Molotov cocktail was tossed through a broken window.
