Panthers expecting big crowd for Habs

-

The Florida Panthers are deadlast in the NHL when it comes to attendance. They have averaged 10,791 fans a game and don’t bother opening the upper deck for most games. But the Panthers are expecting a sellout — including the upper deck — for Tuesday’s game against the Canadiens. A check Friday indicated there are fewer than 1,000 tickets available at the box office and most of the seats in the lower bowl are single seats. There are about 500 seats available on the NHL Ticket Exchange resale site, including eight seats at ice level for $698 each.
