Paul Walker remembered, just in time

- DOUG CAMILLI tellcamilli@gmail.com

Various Furious 7 cast members

have been speaking out about how much they loved series star Paul Walker, who died in a flaming car crash Nov. 30, 2013. Purely by coincidence, they’re sharing their innermost sorrow just as the new movie is about to open.

Let’s see: Michelle Rodriguez says she “went on a bit of a binge” after his death, romancing Zac Efron, cuddling in public ( and private) with model Cara Delevingne, even smooching with Justin Bieber.

Mixed martial arts fighter Ron- da Rousey, also in the movie, says Walker was “a joy to be around.”

And Vin Diesel reveals that he named his baby girl Pauline in Walker’s honour:

“There’s no other person that I was thinking about as I was cutting the umbilical cord.” No comment from the mother, his girlfriend Paloma Jimenez.

The first six movies made $ 2.4 billion U. S. The new one opens next month.

Jon Hamm of Mad Men

has emerged from 30 days of alcoholabuse rehab, his PR people have now revealed.

“With the support of his longtime partner Jennifer Westfeldt, Jon Hamm recently completed treatment for his struggle with alcohol addiction. They have asked for privacy and sensitivity,” the statement said. TMZ. com says he was at Silver Hill Hospital, in New Canaan, Conn.

This is the first time anybody’s heard of him having a booze problem, but he did speak, a few years ago, of wrestling with depression.

Mad Men’s final episodes will air starting April 5.

Hamm is 44.

Katy Perry and John Mayer

have broken up again, Radar Online reports. They split in February 2014 but reunited this January. Now it’s over again.

Nameless Insider explained the dynamic: “Katy get busy. John can’t handle the lack of attention, and she can’t handle the trust issues she has when she’s so far away.”

She’s 30. He’s 37.

Quote of the day: London

Mayor Boris Johnson explains, in the Sunday Times, how to be efficient: “The way to find time in your week, I think, is cut out random TV and don’t just sit there randomly surfing the Internet and looking at Ten Interesting Things You Never Knew About Rihanna’s Bum. It’s a total waste of time.”

Also, he adds, get up at 5 a. m.

Amal Clooney had lunch with

Anna Wintour of Vogue the other day at the Lambs Club, an upscale New York diner — try the $ 16 barley- avocado soup. This has generated speculation, in the N. Y. Post and elsewhere, that Amal will appear on the cover of Vogue.

Alternatively, maybe Wintour wants to sue South Sudan, or something.

Julia Dowling, chief florist at

the White House, was escorted from the building Feb. 13, the Washington Post reports (“White House stays mum …”)

She says she quit. This week, after the news got out, the White House released a half- hearted statement praising her skills.

Of course all Washington is abuzz. Did she clash with Michelle Obama? Or what?
