Ill senior shouldn’t be moved so much
Maybe someone out there can clear this up for me. After several weeks at Sacré-Coeur hospital, it was decided that my husband needed to be in a long-term care facility. It was explained to us that his first move would be somewhere on the West Island where we live. Then after some yet-undetermined time, he would be moved again. This would in all probability be in the east end of Montreal, which would be most inconvenient.
His stay there could be anywhere from one week to nine months for evaluation. His third and last move would be back to the West Island to a facility of our choice, if a room was available.
Could somebody explain to me why a senior who is not in good condition to begin with should be moved three times? Heather Lague, Dollard-des-Ormeaux
