Playing reverend at city hall

-

Re: “Mayor wants to marry couples at city hall” (Montreal Gazette, April 25) I have had broken ball joints and axles on my car. The latest incident happened just last week, while hitting a pothole making a left turn. It was the second time that my car had to be towed to the nearest garage for repairs in the last few years due to the awful state of our roads. We must be the only city in Canada in which handling our steering wheels feels like handling a jackhammer.

I hope that our likable Montreal mayor would concentrate more on joining road repair crews to fix the many potholes we have on our city streets, instead of playing reverend at city hall. Patrick Rosati, Town of Mount Royal
