Keep loud music out of restaurants

There are a lot of good restaurants in the city. My wife and I like to dine in them. Some of them are very noisy, but that is OK. People are talking and not texting.

But why add more noise with background music? It is so noisy, you can’t hear yourself talking, let alone your company. Maybe they want us out of the restaurant as fast as possible in order to serve the next diners.

In this case, don’t worry, we just won’t come back. Keep the good food, let the people eat and talk, but keep the music out. Yuval Weiss, Montreal
