Lachine to work on water pipes

Activity will lead to lane closures and restricted street parking

Work on undergroun­d water pipes in Lachine will mean some lane closures and no street parking for the areas around 45th, 46th, 47th Sts. and Sherbrooke St. W.

Starting the week of April 27, the work is expected to last until mid-July, said a statement from the city of Montreal. The areas affected will be: 45th Ave. between Sherbrooke St. W. and Sir-George Simpson. Part of the intersecti­on of Sher- brooke blocked.

46th Ave. between Sherbrooke St. W. and Sir-George Simpson. One lane open and no street parking.

47th Ave. between Sherbrooke St. W. and Sir-George Simpson. One lane open and no street parking.

Sherbrooke St. W between 44th and 46th Aves. One lane of traffic only and no street parking whatsoever.

Residents living in the sector will be advised by memo from the city.
