Three charged in fight that led to two deaths

Three people were charged in Quebec Court Friday in relation to two deaths and injuries that took place early Sunday in downtown Montreal right after bars closed for the night. Jean- François Félix, 30, was charged with attempted murder and assault. Marc- Evans Jeanti-homme, 23, faces charges of assault causing bodily harm. An attempted murder charge was also laid against Stanley Casimir, also 23 years old. Félix was arrested in Calgary. On Thursday, two other suspects were released and are not facing charges after meeting with investigat­ors. A criminal investigat­ion by Montreal police continues and could result in more arrests. Police are asking the public to help identify and locate an important suspect. The man, 30, is black, 5- foot- 10 and 180 pounds. He has black hair braided towards the back of his head and may have a beard. He is considered armed and dangerous. The deaths took place at St- Laurent Blvd. and Pins Ave. W. around 3 a. m. Two people were killed and two others were injured. Two of the four individual­s, ages 20 and 30, were shot, and the other two were stabbed.
