Negative campaigns on the wane?

Trash- Talking Trump almost finished third in the Iowa caucuses. Bernie Sanders fought Hillary Clinton to a virtual draw without mentioning her private stash of emails, or any of her other perceived failings. Here, at home, Justin Trudeau’s campaign for leader of his party, and then for leader of the country, never disparaged his adversaries.
