Hooray for Bollywood — in Dubai theme park

A Bollywood-themed amusement park opening in Dubai is promising an education in one of the world’s mammoth moviemaking factories — as well as the usual run of thrill rides, themed restaurants and gift emporiums. The 1.7-million-square-foot Bollywood Parks, part of the Dubai Parks and Resorts complex, is to open in October with 16 cinematic rides, six themed diners and 30 live shows inspired by contemporary Hindi-language blockbusters. The park will also be home to the 850seat Rajmahal Theatre, featuring Broadway-style musicals.
