New York mayor gives Kanye party advice

- DOUG CAMILLI tellcamilli@gmail.com

New York Mayor Bill de Blasio is offering to help Kanye West organize a free block party/concert, after an impromptu gig late Sunday night nearly caused a riot.

Maybe you saw the story: Kanye’s Sunday show at the big Governors Ball festival was cancelled because of heavy rain. So he performed at another soggy bash, in Brooklyn, then returned to Manhattan — by now it’s around 1 a.m. Monday — and tweeted news of an impromptu free show at Webster Hall, in the East Village.

More than 4,000 people quickly turned up; the hall seats 1,500. Result: noise, litter, fans climbing on cars, etc.

Then West cancelled, and cops told everyone to go home. A riot was averted but it wasn’t pretty.

Now Hizzoner has told Kanye, via Twitter, that “great block parties are planned” and has offered to help set one up, as a benefit. No response yet.

Gisele Bündchen is more than

just a pretty face. She’s also a TV presenter and eco-warrior.

The celebrity model will do an episode of a National Geographic TV series, Years of Living Dangerously. She’ll focus on environmental degradation of the Amazon rainforest.

This will be Season 2 for the show, on which celebs poke around environmental trouble spots.

The Taylor Swift-Calvin Harris breakup

keeps getting more mysterious. First we heard he dumped her, because he was jealous of her success or couldn’t take all the travel, or something.

Then there was a report he’d been ring-shopping recently, suggesting she was the dumper.

Now this: “a source close to Swift” tells Entertainment Tonight he’s the one who walked away, and “a few weeks ago she was talking about marrying him.”

The Important Persons Act can’t

protect you forever. Paris Hilton’s little brother Conrad learned that the hard way this week.

A federal judge in L.A. has revoked his parole. He was stoned in his substance-abuse program. That violated probation in the case stemming from his threats to passengers and crew on a 2014 British Airways flight to L.A.: “I am going to (bad word) kill you (bad word) peasants!”

He must report to spend two months in the hoosegow, Entertainment Tonight reports. Young Connie was said to be in tears at the sentencing. I guess there’s only one way to react to that. All together now: Hahahahaha!

At the 22-year-old’s sentencing, he tried to bargain with the judge, asking if he could spend his time at his grandfather’s mansion in Palm Springs. What a twerp!

In March, Hilary Swank got engaged

to former tennis pro Ruben Torres. Now Swank, 41, has cancelled the engagement, and has deleted her related social media posts, her publicists have confirmed to People mag.

No explanations have been offered. The two dated for almost a year before the engagement.
