Taylor Swift’s little brother finds work in showbiz

- DOUG CAMILLI tellcamilli@gmail.com

Write if you get work: Who among us will be surprised to learn that Taylor Swift’s little brother is getting into showbiz? And at a high level? Say hello to Austin Swift, who’s got a role in I.T., the new Pierce Brosnan thriller.

(You say Pierce Brosnan isn’t actually all that high a level? Fair enough. But hey, who’s the headliner in YOUR latest Hollywood picture?)

The movie stars Australia’s James Frecheville, whose computer-wizard character gets in a fight with rich, charming businessman Brosnan, see? And Brosnan has a pretty daughter who … well, you could write the rest of this thing yourself.

Austin, a Notre Dame graduate, plays a character named Lance, Billboard says. This movie, opening next month, seems to be his biggest acting gig so far. He’s 24. Taylor’s 26. Brosnan is 107.

All Swift, all the time: One of the good things about being rich, apparently, is that you can invite your glamorous friends to your big-deal birthday parties. Take the one oil heir Mike Hess had Saturday night in the Hamptons, where the New York City elite spend their weekends.

Mike had rapper Nelly out to the house to perform, E! Online reports, and guest Taylor Swift got up on stage with him. Model Karlie Kloss was there, too, and Heidi Klum, and Leslie Odom Jr., until recently in the cast of Hamilton.

Swift and Nelly double-teamed his old hit Dilemma, and she gave the birthday boy a smooch onstage, and danced with him.

“Taylor was in an amazing mood,” a source told E!, “and super fun all night. She danced her (somewhat rude word) off.” OK, OK. Pierce Brosnan’s actually only 63.

It’s all over between Princess

Beatrice and her rich-guy boyfriend this last decade, Uber exec Dave Clark.

Beatrice is the daughter of Prince Andrew and his ex-wife Sarah Ferguson.

There’s a unique logic in royal romance: When Prince William’s wife, Duchess Kate, gave birth to Princess Charlotte 15 months ago, Beatrice slipped to seventh in line for the throne.

The first six need royal permission to marry, and Bea was afraid to ask, knowing the Queen would consult William, who doesn’t approve of Dave. So Bea never pressed Dave about marrying.

But when monarchical permission was no longer required, Beatrice expected a ring. A year later, when Clark still hadn’t proposed, she gave him an ultimatum — and then it was all over, the Daily Mail relates.

She’s 27. Dave’s 32.

Unlike Bea and Dave, singers

Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani will indeed get married, TMZ reports.

These two became a rebound couple after Gwen’s abrupt split with Gavin Rossdale last summer, which came just after Blake’s divorce from Miranda Lambert. “They almost rescued each other,” Nameless Insider told People mag.

Now they’ve hired a wedding planner, TMZ says, although nobody has announced anything.

Blake’s 40. Gwen’s 46.
