Shatner could meet Sheldon — if given the right script

The charming nerds of The Big Bang Theory love their science fiction, not least Star Trek. And over the years Leonard Nimoy, George Takei, LeVar Burton and other actors from the Star Trek universe have appeared on the sitcom. (We shall not speak of Wil Wheaton.)

But where’s William Shatner? He has never been on the show, but tells the website Digital Spy it could still happen.

“I’ve had several conversations with the creators,” Shatner says. “They wanted me to play myself a little obliquely. … They said it would work out, but I needed more assurance on that.

“So I said, ‘Find something that’s better.’ They may have taken umbrage at that. I’m not sure.” But he says he’s still open to the idea.

He’s 85.

Spotlight couple: It took a while, but leathery old Sean Penn seems to have bounced back from last year’s breakup with Charlize Theron. There he was the other day on a Hawaiian beach with Australian-born starlet Leila George.

She’s less than half his age, and her parents are actors Vincent D’Onofrio and Greta Scacchi.

Leila is 24. Sean’s 56. Vince is 57. Greta’s 56.

The Wall Street Journal’s maga- zine went to Portugal to visit the compound of shoe star Christian Louboutin, who lives mainly in Paris but has several houses and estates around the world.

Among the surprises mentioned in the resulting estimable profile was a pair of young twins, children the designer has never announced to the world.

At the “compound of low-slung whitewashed bungalows … off a dirt road outside of Melides” the designer’s “curly-haired daughters, fraternal twins, now nearly two years old, toddle around happily,” the magazine says.

The story states clearly that they’re Louboutin’s kids, and that he’s single, having split up with longtime partner Louis Benech, a landscape designer. But the article is mute about the girls’ mother.

Louboutin is 53.

That baby Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis are expecting? A boy.

Kutcher revealed their second kid’s gender on NBC’s Today

show the other morning, while telling a story about their daughter Wyatt, who’s two.

“She points to Mila and she’s like, ‘baby brother,’ when she points to the belly,” Kutcher said. “And then she points to Dad and she goes, ‘beer,’ so I think she gets there’s something in the belly, but I don’t quite think that she knows that it’s not going to be a plastic doll.”

He’s 38. Mila’s 33.

Beauty secrets of the stars: Former Spice Girl Victoria Beckham says she eats salmon every day, for the sake of her skin.

‘’I used to have really problematic skin” until L.A. dermatologist Harold Lancer told her about salmon, she told Net-a-Porter. “He said to me ... ‘Breakfast, lunch or dinner, you have to eat it every single day.’ “

She added that she also eats “lots of good fats, in avocados, nuts, seeds …”

She’s 42.
