THEY SHALL NOT GROW OLD
Dave McCrindle pays his respects during the Last Post at a ceremony to mark Remembrance Day at the Monument des braves in N.D.G. Park on Sunday. McCrindle was in the Royal Canadian Artillery from June 1940 until the end of the Second World War, serving in England, Sicily, France and Holland. The event was one of many held in Montreal and neighbouring cities, including Beaconsfield, Ste-Anne-de-Bellevue and Hudson on Sunday. Montreal’s official Remembrance Day ceremony starts at 10:30 a.m. on Friday at Place du Canada.
