Suspect arrested in three attacks

Montreal police have arrested a suspect in the assault of three women overnight Thursday in the Plateau-Mont-Royal borough. François Dulude, 26, was arrested late Saturday in Montreal. Police had advised the public to not approach the suspect, who they said followed women walking on Plateau streets, approached them from behind and hit them repeatedly. In the first two incidents, the victims were able to escape. In the third, police said, the victim was sexually assaulted.
