Say Hello, and good night, to Sense With Voice
Having trouble sleeping ? Perhaps it’s time to say hello to … Hello. (The consumer electronics company, NOT the Lionel Richie or Adele song.)
The firm’s Sense With Voice — heralded as “the natural evolution of sleep-improving technology,” says Digital Trends — is designed to help people get the best night’s sleep possible.
Similar in size to a baseball, Sense With Voice can monitor information about the surrounding environment, which consumers can access via an app or, as the name suggests, through voice commands.
“We created Sense with Voice to help you better understand and improve your sleep in the most effortless way,” explains James Proud, chief executive of Hello.
The device can connect to many smart home products through IFTTT (If This Then That), letting consumers control things such as lighting and room temperature.
Sense has upgraded its sensors, so people can monitor light, humidity, temperature, air quality, and noise, but also track UV light, carbon dioxide, volatile organic compounds, light temperature and barometric pressure.
To operate the unit all a user has to do is say, “OK Sense.” That simple wordage can help control, maintain and understand your entire sleeping environment, all without touching your smartphone.
Sense With Voice is only available in the U.S. for $US149, but can be shipped to Canada.
