CONDO PROJECT IN ST-SAUVEUR

Construction to start next spring

- MEGAN MARTIN

Nestled in the heart of Quebec’s famed Laurentian ski country, a new real-estate development is seeking to provide Montrealers with all the region has to offer, combined with the convenience of condo living.

Prestige Condos at Le Domaine Nymark will definitely stand out in cottage country, as this type of realestate project is rather rare in the Laurentians. Construction on the 40-unit complex is slated to start in the spring of 2017, and wrap up by mid-March 2018.

“It’ll be a very private setting minutes away from le Centre de Ski Mont Saint-Sauveur, a gated community of sorts,” said Debbie LaFave, the real-estate broker in charge of sales for the project, and vice-president at Baker & Associates. “It’s going to offer exceptionally spacious living spaces tucked away in the beautiful Laurentians.”

The goal of designing spacious condos in this project is to offer buyers the sense of living in a standalone home, but without the headaches of homeownership.

“We know people want to have plenty of space to entertain family and friends, but without the hassles of maintaining a detached house,” LaFave said. “That’s why buyers will be attracted to Prestige Condos at Le Domaine Nymark.”

The units will range in size from 1,200 to 2,350 square feet, with prices starting at $449,000, plus taxes. All condos will come equipped with top-of-the-line appliances, engineered wood and porcelain tile floors, a gas fireplace, custom cabinetry, cast stone countertops, and a slew of other highend finishings.

“This includes bright spaces featuring current style trends in an environment requiring minimal upkeep,” Debbie LaFave said. “The materials being used will all be of the highest quality.”

Moreover, the amenities provided to the complex as a whole will leave little to be desired. Prestige Condos will offer a private leisure area and unique à-la-carte concierge service, which includes housekeeping and maintenance, catering, and personalized grocery shopping, with delivery right to the buyer’s fridge.

“The concierge can also book your reservations on the ski hill, at the spa or at nearby restaurants,” LaFave said. “Long-term rental management will also be included on the list of options available to owners.”

In addition to these perks, the development’s location alone is enough to draw Montrealers in for a visit. With dozens of ski hills nearby, great shopping, restaurants and nightlife venues minutes away, buyers will be able to take in all the Laurentians have to offer without worrying about traffic on the drive back to Montreal after a long day on the slopes. Instead, they can just stroll down the road to their condo and relax.

“It’s central, yet in a discreet location that’s perfect for skiing, golfing and other activities throughout the year,” LaFave said. “Its close proximity to numerous services, restaurants, entertainment and the St-Sauveur cultural scene make it truly unique.”

The project is being managed by SNAL and Groupe Lavorel, which together have more than 35 years of combined experience in residential complex development and hotel management.

“The companies have been operating in Quebec since 2007, and are known for their attention to detail and quality work carried out in concert with local community members and decision makers,” LaFave said. “I know that with this project they’ll be providing St-Sauveur with a one-of-a-kind prestigious real-estate development.”

This complex was designed for people seeking peace in a natural setting and the opportunity to stay active in the great outdoors, she added. But whether you’re a seasoned skier, a lover of the outdoors, or simply enjoy a weekend getaway shopping and lounging at the spa, Prestige Condos at Le Domaine Nymark has something for everyone.
