YOUR HOROSCOPE

-

Birthday Guy: Actor William Hurt was born in Washington, D.C. on this day in 1950. This birthday guy won a 1986 Oscar for his performance in “Kiss of the Spider Woman.” He’s also earned Oscar nominations for his work in “A History of Violence,” “Broadcast News,” and “Children of a Lesser God.” He garnered an Emmy nomination as Daniel Purcell on “Damages” and another Emmy nomination in 2011 for the TV movie “Too Big to Fail.”

Aries (March 21-April 19): You are great at mental gymnastics and always land on your feet. You are at your best when working with other people in a companionable way. Use your creative powers and ingenuity to make mincemeat of problems.

Taurus (April 20-May 20): Search for inspiration. Hold off on making decisions about “things,” and focus on achieving personal growth. It is much too easy to clutter your life with too many things.

Gemini (May 21-June 20): Impishly impressionable. You may be on track, but that does not mean you know which way the train is heading. A romantic mood may make you less discriminating than usual.

Cancer (June 21-July 22): You seem to be wearing a neon sign that attracts new friends or admirers. You will want to be sure that old pals are still around when a flurry of social activity calms down.

Leo (July 23-Aug. 22): A new relationship begun now could prove worthwhile. Extend an invitation for a date, lunch or even the first cup of coffee together. This could be a good time to follow up with past clients or to get in touch with old friends.

Virgo (Aug. 23-Sept. 22): Take care of what you’ve got. Rather than buying new things and adding to the clutter, you might consider taking better care of the things already in your possession.

Libra (Sept. 23-Oct. 22): Pay to play. It might become obvious that it is necessary to participate in local politics or group dynamics to be seen as a team player. You may feel pressured to make a donation because it is the right thing to do.

Scorpio (Oct. 23-Nov. 21): Capitalize on your connections. You may have opportunities to gain recognition and earn appreciation. You could forge relationships with people who receive a great deal of publicity or are noteworthy in a specific field.

Sagittarius (Nov. 22-Dec. 21): You may be torn between unyielding ambition and flights of fancy. Someone close might not give you clear signals or a definitive answer. If you can’t make up your mind, then don’t force an issue.

Capricorn (Dec. 22-Jan. 19): You might be inspired by what you hope is possible rather than what you know is plausible. You may exaggerate your intense feelings or become swept up in a romantic fantasy because you are simply bored.

Aquarius (Jan. 20-Feb. 18): You may encourage others to do their best because they observe your shining example. It isn’t necessary to correct someone who thinks you are better than you are.

Pisces (Feb. 19-March 20): You could take a fall if you act as though you are above it all. You can’t get by on charm alone. You may mistake a compliment for criticism, or criticism for admiration. Be sure to honor your commitments and promises.

if March 20 is your birthday: Your practical approach to moneymaking works in your favor during the next one to two weeks. This is a good time to make key purchases or business decisions. You may be all wrapped up in achieving an impossible dream in April. You may be inspired to visit an exotic location or hook up with someone who is not quite right but who rings your romantic chimes anyway. Enjoy vacation time or romantic moments, but do not make major investments. It may seem that all of the fun vanishes from your life in July and August, when you are hard-pressed to achieve your ambitions. September and October are the best months to make key decisions, launch plans or seek professional advice.
