No regrets about move to Ontario

Thirty years ago, I left Quebec for the greener healthcare pastures of southern Ontario. I have no regrets.

By chance I came across the Gazette article in which Gaétan Barette suggests that funding the MUHC at 85 per cent of capacity is adequate because capacity is never full. What planet does he live on?

Canadian hospitals across the country have been operating at 100 per centplus capacity for years if not decades. My hospital is routinely running at 110 to 120 per cent capacity. Kudos to the administra­tion and physicians who make that possible for all of us. Drew A.
