Condo a house of mirrors

- Postmedia News

For condo owners, having two, three or maybe four mirrors might be enough for their needs. But a peek inside one particular lowerlevel suite of a Phoenix condo community will lead the curiousminded into what’s essentially a house of mirrors.

“Every single wall, every door, every single cabinet front is covered with mirrors,” listing agent Diana Pickering told Realtor.com about Unit 116 at Anasazi Village Condominiums, currently up for sale.

Pickering said that the unit’s owners began adding the mirrors not long after purchasing the place in the late 1990s.

Although the 850-square-foot one-bedroom unit is covered in mirrors, each room has a slightly different take on the material. In the living room, for example, mirrors with a bevelled edge are used as panelling. “There’s no carpet; it’s all tile. It’s not a cold feeling. It’s just different,” says Pickering.

The owners have kept the unit in impeccable condition without a fingerprint to be found. The tiled space also has refreshed features throughout, with new appliances in the kitchen, an updated shower and double sinks in the bathroom, and a master suite with an extra closet that opens to the patio.

Interested parties can check out the condo, which is on offer for US$140,000. Visit realtor.com, and search for “mirrored condo,” for more details.
