Union gives out badges to protest overwork

The Centrale des syndicats du Québec hopes to get people to wear “broken heart” badges to protest against overwork and compulsory overtime for Quebec’s nurses. The CSQ represents 5,000 nurses, nurses’ aides and respiratory therapists. “We want to send a strong message to the health minister and the premier to tell them we can’t take it anymore,” said Claire Montour, president of the CSQ’s Fédération de la santé.
