Canada’s men’s hockey team won the country’s only medal — a gold — at the 1924 Winter Olympics. In the round robin, the team outscored their opponents — Czechoslovakia, Switzerland and Sweden — by a combined score of 85-0, before defeating Britain 19-2 and the U.S. 6-1 to claim the gold. Harry “Moose” Watson scored 36 goals for Canada.
