Boycott the U.S., urges American

-

We really screwed up this time. So many of us disliked (or distrusted) Hillary Clinton that we didn’t vote, or we wasted our vote on a third-party candidate. But we never, ever thought Donald Trump would get elected.

Subsequently, many have been surprised to learn that his beliefs are in fact those of many Americans. And we are embarrassed in front of the world as our president does exactly what he said he would do for those who would vote for him.

Many of us had faith that our system of checks and balances in the three branches of our government structure would prevent significant harm. We were wrong.

As individuals, many of us feel totally helpless to stop the stupidity of immigration atrocities, a senseless trade war, the abandonment of Puerto Rico’s catastrophe victims, support of Chinese and North Korean political and economic interests, and turning our backs on NATO and the United Nations — all in less than 18 months. What is yet to come?

We can only hope rational, humanitarian societies and their governments take a unified stand against the tyranny of one man who could destroy all that our forefathers have fought to establish and maintain. Please stand up to the bully. Don’t buy here, don’t sell here, don’t come here. Please help us. (Hope I don’t get charged with sedition or treason.)
