Health dollars needed elsewhere

Re: “Rolling back specialists’ fees would be wrong” (Opinion, Sept. 19)

Ottawa physician Charles S. Shaver wants the next Quebec government to respect a previously signed contract to increase the fees of medical specialists.

As a senior citizen fed up with waiting in line for even basic medical attention in hospitals and clinics, I would rather suggest that the next health minister allocate more money to improve accessibility and promptness. Jalaluddin S. Hussain, Brossard
