OWENS TO RECEIVE HALL OF FAME RING

Terrell Owens will receive his Pro Football Hall of Fame ring at a halftime ceremony during the San Francisco 49ers’ game Thursday against Oakland. Hall of Fame president David Baker will make the presentation. Owens will wear his gold Hall of Fame jacket and his bronzed bust will be on hand. Owens was voted into the hall of this year, but skipped the induction ceremony, upset he had to wait three years to receive the honour. Instead, he held his own celebration at his college in Tennessee.
