HUDSON DEFENDS NEW ww ROLE

-

Kate Hudson has responded to critics of her new appointment as an ambassador for WW, insisting she needed motivation to focus on wellness, not weight loss. The actress was unveiled as the new face of the healthy eating firm, formerly known as WeightWatchers, in December — just two months after welcoming her third child, daughter Rani. The news was met with mixed reactions on social media, with some questioning how Goldie Hawn’s daughter, who is known for her slender frame, could relate to the serious body struggles faced by so many, while others suggested her wealth made it so much easier for her to follow a healthy diet and exercise regime to hit her weight goals. However, Hudson has now addressed the online comments, explaining that she actually signed on for the role to help her stay on top of her overall wellness.
