ZR1 VETTED FOR LEGO RELEASE

- Driving.ca

LEGO has just released its latest car kit — and it’s a Corvette. Not just any Corvette, though. It’s the top-of-the-line ZR1, which in full scale boasts 755 horsepower. The LEGO kit, sold under the Technic line, features real steering and even a V-8 with working pistons, which you can see sticking out of the hood. The model can also be configured as a mid-engined C-8, too! Just kidding, but you can build it as a classic hot rod. The kit doesn’t look as clean as other models, such as the Ferrari F40. The wild aerodynamics of the Corvette don’t look very good here and neither do most of the body panels. But for a Corvette enthusiast, it doesn’t get much better than this, considering the price and the size. This model is about half the size of more expensive kits in the lineup and costs $69.99, a far cry from the wild prices of some of the other LEGO Technic kits.
