Sure, brown may never fully replace black as the ultimate versatile shade — to claim as such would probably be irresponsi­ble — but the hue is definitely feeling au courant for spring-summer. Just ask designers such as Tom Ford and Riccardo Tisci, whose debut collection at Burberry featured plenty of tan and brown.
