The product: Tiffany & Co. Return to Tiffany Love Bugs Collection

Why we love it: If you’re at all familiar with the jewelry designs of the American company Tiffany & Co., then odds are you’re also familiar with the brand’s Return to Tiffany collection.

With origins dating back to a key ring with a 1969 design, the collection has since grown to include necklaces, bracelets, earrings and more, each inscribed with the iconic “Please Return to Tiffany & Co. New York” message.

For 2019, the design has been reinterpreted thanks to Reed Krakoff, the current chief artistic officer for Tiffany & Co, playing up the nod to nature that was highlighted in 2018 with the Tiffany Paper Flowers collection, but has been a key code for the brand since its beginning.

“With Return to Tiffany Love Bugs we created a new iteration of an iconic collection that starts in a familiar place but ends up in a wider world,” Krakoff said in a news release. “This jewelry collection is broader than the original Return to Tiffany in its look, in its materials and in its attitude.”

The collection, which launched in Canadian boutiques in April, is said to be inspired by an “urban garden” and features blossoms, butterflies, birds and more, in a mixture of yellow, rose and white gold and sterling silver. The assorted pendants, brooches, rings and fine jewelry pieces are also punctuated with colourful stones such as amethyst, topaz and green quartz, as well as diamonds.

We’re loving the look of this Return to Tiffany Love Bugs daisy chain bangle in sterling silver and 18-karat gold. The piece is simple enough that it could easily be worn alone or with a favourite bracelet stack: Hello, spring arm candy!
