Sympathy for Cadotte and wife

Re: “Cadotte to serve two years in prison” (Montreal Gazette, May 29)

I have been following with interest the discussion on the sentencing of Michel Cadotte. I do not know what is right, or what is wrong. But this I do know: If I were in the condition his wife was in, I would welcome the end and be grateful to whoever made it possible. That was not a life she was having, it was a living hell.
