The Meals on Wheels kitchen in

Dorval needs help with cleanup and drivers are needed in Pierrefond­s, Lachine and Roxboro. This volunteer-driven program provides hot nutritious meals to homebound or isolated seniors and to those with reduced autonomy, and, as importantl­y, helps break isolation. Ages 25+.

A young mom with a chronic

■ illness needs a volunteer to help her one or two afternoons a week with her sweet five-year-old daughter who has Down syndrome. Ages 16+.

There are several West Island

■ seniors’ residences that are looking for friendly visitors for clients who have no family close by. Also needed are volunteers to help run the group activities with the Recreation Technician. Ages 16+.

Two volunteers are needed on

Thursdays and Fridays to help supervise Open Gym (recreation­al sports). The volunteers would be responsibl­e for monitoring the gym, hallway and ensuring that the youth are using the space and equipment appropriat­ely. Staff would be present as well.

West Montreal Readaptati­on

Centre (CROM), is looking for office help in Lachine, as well as for assistants for group activities for children and friendly visits and community accompanim­ent for an adult, teen or child who has intellectu­al disabiliti­es, developmen­tal or autism spectrum disorders. Ages 18+.
