Police seek possible victims of actor suspected of sex assault

Longueuil police on Friday continued their search for other potential victims of a Quebec actor suspected of committing sexual assaults on two women.

Chijoke Onyechekwa Ugochukwu, 48, played the roles of Koffi Yatabéré in the television series Unité 9 and Big Tom in Cheval Serpent.

Ugochukwu was named in two formal complaints of sexual assault and was arrested on March 9 and Aug. 27.

Police said that since they posted Ugochukwu's photo on social media on Thursday, four potential victims have stepped forward, but investigators suspect there may be others.
