St-bruno man charged with importing opioids

A Quebecer from St-bruno has been charged by American authorities with importing fentanyl into the United States via the dark web, an encrypted part of the internet regularly linked with illegal activity. The charges against Arden Mccann, 32, are part of the dismantling of an international opioid trafficking ring announced this week in Washington, D.C. McCann is named in four criminal counts — two for having conspired to import fentanyl to the U.S. and two for having conspired to launder money.
