GIBB, John Thomas (Tommy)

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of TOM GIBB at the age of 91. Devoted husband to his beloved wife of sixty-seven years, Hélène Gibb (Henri). Loving father to his two daughters, Diane and Carole (Joe). Adored grandfather to Joshua (Kristen), Stephanie (Chris), Karlana (Will), Jasmina (Anthony) and Franco ( Meghan) who were all his pride and joy. Great-grandfather to Jakob and Logan who both held a special place in his heart. He will be greatly missed by his immediate family, in-laws, nieces and nephews that loved him dearly. Predeceased by his mother Ethel Evelyn Gibb (Brownrigg), his father James Gordon Gibb and his two brothers Jim and Bobbie. Relatives and friends will be asked to join in a ’’Celebration of Life’’ at the Rideau Funeral Home at 4275 Sources Blvd., Dollard-des-ormeaux, QC, H9B 2A6 on Tuesday, September 29 (9:00 a.m. - 10:30 a.m. visitation / 10:30 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. service). A niche interment for his ashes will be on the same day at 2:00 p.m. at the National Field of Honour located at 703 Donegani Ave., Pointe-claire, QC, H9R 5G6. In lieu of flowers, a memoriam donation to either CAMH (mental health) or Fighting Blindness Canada would be appreciated.
