How to kick-start our downtown

Re: “Agency to pitch Montreal as culinary hot spot” (Montreal Gazette, Aug. 24)

Instead of investing $1 million on promoting restaurants and giving funds to boost nightlife, the City of Montreal should make street parking more accessible, stop closing streets to cars and put a moratorium on bicycle lanes.
