According to Centris, condo sales were up 52 per cent in Dollard-desormeaux during the last
four quarters, while the number of active listings only went up eight per cent.
This statistic doesn’t come as much of a surprise to the vice-president of construction and business development for Métrocité, the family-owned, residential real estate developer behind one of the area’s newest projects — Baldwin Condos & Penthouses.
“There’s a definite lack of condos in the neighbourhood,” says Renato Rinollini, who took over the company with his brother Paolo, the vice-president of finance, from their father fifteen years ago.
“Especially large condos for families or people that are downsizing, which make up a significant proportion of our clientele.”

“He learned a lot during those talks, and everything he learned went into Baldwin.”
