Picture of irony or hypocrisy?

I couldn't help but notice the photo of Premier François Legault speaking to the CAQ youth convention beneath a large sign stating “fiers” (proud).
Legault is seated in a church with the high altar and a crucifix prominently behind him. Irony or hypocrisy is left to the observer's imagination.
“Secularism” is defined by the dominant culture. In Quebec, it seems, non-christians and non-believers need not apply.
