Montreal Gazette

NOTE TO READERS

-

This week, the Montreal Gazette has introduced you to the creators of some of the most popular comic strips and puzzles in the world – and whose work will appear on these pages starting with Monday's e-paper.

We have partnered with Andrews Mcmeel Syndication, the world's largest independent newspaper feature syndicate, to overhaul and upgrade our offerings to you. The slate of comics and puzzles you'll receive will have some familiar faces and many new ones reflective of shifts in culture, demographics, and trends in society.

We'll be carrying the work of a mix of artists, including Lynn Johnston's For Better or For Worse, Paul Gilligan's Pooch Café and Mike Baldwin's Cornered. As well, astrologist Eugenia Last will craft your horoscope and on Saturdays we'll add an extra page of brain-teasing puzzles to exercise your minds.

We realize changes in readers' comics and puzzles can be unsettling. But in partnering with Andrews Mcmeel Syndicate, the Gazette is drawing from a deep well of the best the industry has to offer. We hope you'll enjoy the new experience.

For those who would like to spend more time with the Gazette's comics, puzzles, and advice columns, we encourage you to visit montrealgazette.com, where nearly 500 comics, over 30 puzzles and 18 columnists offering advice on everything from relationships to parenting and pet care are available to subscribers every day.

We're pleased to continue offering readers of the Montreal Gazette's favourites such as Dilbert and Pearls Before Swine, while also adding Crabgrass, Pickles, Big Nate, and many others to the roster.
